Dielectric bricks can be used to model small planar 3D dielectrics, gaps and inserts

Dielectric Bricks ™ let you introduce dielectric discontinuities into your analysis. You can incorporate embedded finite dielectrics into any layer to simulate gaps, truncated overlays, dielectric bridges, holes or other structures with simple finite dielectrics.
