Download Standalone License Manager (lmgrd and sonnetd)

Release 13 Standalone License Manager

Sonnet 13 requires FlexNet License Management software version 11.8 on Windows and Linux. Version 11.5 is required for Solaris.

Requirements

Attention: the system requirements for the Standalone License Manager have changed since last release. Please review the following requirements:
    PC Windows
    Red Hat Linux (x86)
    SuSE Linux (x86)
    Sun SPARCstations (Solaris)

Instructions

Instructions for Windows (PC):

1. Download the Windows zip file.
2. Unzip the downloaded file.

Instructions for Unix/Linux:

1. Download the appropriate file for your platform to a blank directory.
2. cd to the directory which contains the downloaded file.
3. Uncompress the file by typing:

     gunzip <Zfile>

where <Zfile> is the name of the file you downloaded (ends in .gz). This creates a file with a .tar extension.

4. Next, you need to untar the file by typing:

     tar xvf <tarfile>

where <tarfile> is the name of the file created from the previous step (ends in .tar).
