Conformal Mesh metal removed by em during the analysis

Known Bugs

Symptoms

When viewing your circuit in the current density viewer, metal polygons using conformal meshing are missing from your circuit.

Cause

A bug causes em to remove any metal using conformal meshing which is surrounded by a single ground metal polygon on three sides. An example is shown below. Only conformal mesh metal which is on the same level as the ground polygon is removed. Also, the ground metal polygon must touch the Sonnet box wall on all three sides for the problem to occur.

Work around

Divide the ground polygon into two polygons (Edit => Divide Polygons). The example is shown below with a split ground polygon.
