Edit => Select Matching Polygons
Project Editor - Edit Menu - Select Matching Metal Polygons dialog box
Edit => Select Matching Polygons opens the Selection Matching Metal Polygons dialog box that allows you to select metal polygons which share characteristics of your choosing. This dialog box is very similar to the Metalization Properties dialog box. Refer to the Metalization Properties dialog box topic for definitions of the parameters. For example, you want to select all copper polygons; this dialog box allows you to do so.
If you select this command when there is no metal polygon selected in your circuit, the Select Matching Metal Polygons dialog box is opened with the value ''Any'' in all the input fields. ''Any'' functions as a wildcard. Select the desired values for the fields which you wish to match.
If one or more metal polygons are selected in your circuit when you invoke this command, the Select Matching Metal Polygons dialog box is opened using the values of the selected polygons. If you then wish to remove one or more of the fields from consideration, enter the value ''Any'' or leave the entry blank for that field.
When you click on the OK button, any polygons in your circuit which contain the specified parameters are selected. Note that polygons on all metal levels in your circuit will be selected regardless of the Single Layer Select setting.
Select non-matching polygons: Click on this checkbox if you wish to select all polygons in your circuit which do NOT have the properties specified in this dialog box.
Select Via Polygons Also: Click on this checkbox if you wish to select all vias whose metal shares the characteristics specified in this dialog box.
