Import Status dialog box

GDSII Translator & DXF Translator

This dialog box allows you to execute a GDSII import or DXF import. If necessary, you may enter advanced options for the import or edit your layer mapping.

Import Button: Clicking on this button executes the import of the GDSII or DXF file into the specified Sonnet project using the layer file input in the Layer Mapping dialog box. Progress messages are shown above the output window as the translator performs the conversion. When the import is complete, information about the imported file and its conversion is posted in the output window, as shown below for a GDSII file.

Layers Button: Clicking on the Layers button opens the Layers Mapping dialog box which allows you to adjust the mapping of the GDSII file to the Sonnet project.

Options Button: Clicking on the Options button opens the Import Options dialog box which allows to select advanced options for your import.

Warnings Button: Clicking on the Warnings button opens the Warning display. This button is only enabled if a warning is issued or errors occur during an import.
