How do I change the name of a parameter?

You may change the name of a parameter in a geometry project as follows:

1.   Double-click on the parameter name. This is the equivalent of selecting the parameter, then selecting Modify => Parameter Properties from the main menu. The Parameter Properties dialog box appears on your display.

2.   Enter the desired name by editing the Name text entry box or selecting another parameter name from the Name drop list.

NOTE: Names of parameters are case sensitive.

3.   Click on the OK button to close the dialog box and apply the Name. Your circuit is redrawn with the new name used as the label for the parameter.

OR, use this method if you need to change the name of more than one parameter in a geometry project or to change the name of a parameter in a netlist project.

1.   Select Circuit => Parameters from the project editor main menu. The Parameters dialog box appears on your display.

2.   Edit the Name text entry box for the desired parameter with the new name. If necessary, you may edit the names of multiple parameters while the dialog box is open.

3.   Click on OK to close the dialog box and apply the changes. In a geometry project, the circuit is redrawn with the new names appearing for the parameters.
