How do I open a template?

The Sonnet Project

To open the same template each time you execute the File => New Geometry command, do the following:

1. Select File => Preferences from the project editor main menu.

The Preferences dialog box appears on your display.

2. Click on the Template tab.

3. Click on the Always use this template radio button if you always wish to use the same template project.

4. Enter the location of the template project in the text entry box which is enabled below.

You must exit the project editor and launch it again before these changes take effect.

To open a template directory, and have a choice of template projects each time you execute the File => New Geometry command, do the following:

5. Select File => Preferences from the project editor main menu.

The Preferences dialog box appears on your display.

6. Click on the Template tab.

7. Click on the Select from my template directory radio button if you wish to select from multiple template projects.

8. Enter the location of the template directory in the text entry box which is enabled below.

Note:      You must exit the project editor and launch it again before these changes take effect.
