Parameter Sweep
Project Editor - Analysis Setup Dialog Box - Analysis Control
Parameter sweeps are used to run analyses while varying the values of user-defined parameters. Parameters are defined by selecting Tools => Add Parameter in a geometry project or by selecting Circuit => Parameters in a netlist project. At least one parameter must be selected, but multiple parameters up to and including all of those defined for the project may be included in a parameterization. The analysis frequencies are always a linear sweep defined by the user. Em analyzes the circuit for each value of the parameters at each frequency specified.
You set up a parameter sweep, by selecting a Parameter Sweep from the Analysis Control drop list in the Analysis Setup dialog box. A list of parameter sweeps (if previously set up) appears with buttons which allow you to edit this list appearing to the right of the column.
To add a new parameter sweep, click on the Add button. To edit an existing sweep, click on the entry line. When it is highlighted, click on the Edit button. Either of these actions opens the Parameter Sweep Entry dialog box which allows you to edit or generate an entry. For details about editing an entry, see the Parameter Sweep Entry dialog box.
