License Request for Sonnet Suites
For customers with Sonnet Suites (Professional, Sonnet Level2/Level3, Basic, Silver, Gold)
This form is NOT for Sonnet Lite! To register your Sonnet Lite please follow these instructions.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Click "Submit" to send this license request form to the Sonnet Keycode Coordinator.
- License ID
Your License ID may be found in existing installations by starting Sonnet, and selecting Admin->License ID from the Sonnet Task Bar. You may get the ID from an old license file if you do not have sonnet installed. If you can't find your License ID contact Sonnet.
- Host ID
We need the host ID of your license server. If you have a floating license, you may choose any supported platform on your network to act as your server. If you have a node-locked license, your license server is the computer on which the software will run. If you are entering a hostid different from the one we have on record, you will be asked to fill out a platform change request.
For Windows and Linux PC license servers, your Host ID is one of the following:- The Ethernet address - This is NOT your IP address. Ethernet address is also known as MAC address.
After installing Sonnet on the license server, select Admin->Host ID from the Sonnet Task Bar.
Before installation:

Windows users may open a command prompt (Start->All->Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt),
type the following and press Enter:
ipconfig /all
Then look in the output for the “Physical Address” line. -
Linux users may use the command:
/sbin/ifconfig eth0 | grep HWaddr

- Your hardware key ID
number - printed on hardware
key (if we gave you one)
