Cell Size Wizard

Set X Targets is the first page for the Cell Size Wizard, opened when you click on the Cell Size Calculator button in the Box page of the Circuit Settings dialog box and select the Wizard button in the query box which appears.

Enter each critical dimension for the X direction in the X Target text entry box, then click on the Add button. You are required to enter at least two targets. These targets and their respective tolerances will be used to calculate the cell size in the X-direction.

When you have finished entering critical dimensions in the X direction, click on the Next button to open the Set Y Targets page of the Cell Size Wizard.

Enter each critical dimension for the Y direction in the Y Target text entry box, then click on the Add button. You are required to enter at least two targets. These targets and their respective tolerances will be used to calculate the cell size in the Y-direction.

When you have finished entering critical dimensions in the Y direction, click on the Next button to open the Set Tolerance page of the Cell Size Wizard.

In either of the Set Target pages if you wish to remove a target value, select the value in the list, then click on the Remove button. You may also enter targets in only one of the directions and leave the other Set Target page empty.
