Units

The first thing that needs to be set are the length units. The default length unit for a new Sonnet project is mils, but our project is best represented in microns.

4.  Select Circuit - Settings from the project editor main menu.

The Circuit Settings dialog box appears on your display. You may also open the Circuit Settings dialog box by clicking on the Settings button on the tool bar.  Note that the initial appearance of the dialog box will vary depending on the last settings used.

5.  If it is not already selected, click on "Units" in the side bar menu of the Circuit Settings dialog box.

The appearance of the dialog box is updated to show the Units controls.

6.  Select “microns” from the Length drop list in the Units dialog box.

This changes the Length unit to microns.

7.  Click on the OK button in the Circuit Settings dialog box to apply the changes and close the dialog box.
