Saving a Substrate File

If you wish to save the Substrate File Settings for use in other designs that you will be simulating using Sonnet, you may do so in a “.matl” file. To do so, select Sonnet ⇒ Setup ⇒ Substrate ⇒ Export from the menu of the Layout window. A browse window appears which allows you to save the present settings to a file. The default name is the design name with the .matl extension. You may use another name if you wish.
