Before you can run any of the Sonnet Suites programs you must have the license daemon running on the license server. You can start the license daemon, one of three ways:
- Suggested method: Start the FLEXnet license manager in the server’s local system startup files. See Start License Manager on Boot for instructions.
- Start the license daemon by running the “sflexnet start” command on the license server. This must be done each time the license server machine is rebooted.
- Run any of the Sonnet Suites programs on the license server machine. If the license manager is not running, then it will be started up automatically.
