Exponential Parameter Sweep

Parent Previous Next

The Exponential parameter sweep is a type of parameter sweep which may be added as a variable entry in a Sweep Set in the Sweeps page of the Circuit Settings dialog box. An Exponential parameter sweep is pictured below followed by definitions of the control fields.

An Exponential sweep is a sweep with a common ratio between each successive value. The text entry boxes are Start, Stop and # of Points. The # of Points is the total number of values used for this variable for the analysis. For example the values Start = 8.0, Stop = 64.0 with the # points = 4 will analyze at 8, 16, 32, and 64.
