Linear Parameter Sweep

Parent Previous Next

The Linear parameter sweep is a type of parameter sweep which may be added as a variable entry in a Sweep Set in the Sweeps page of the Circut Settings dialog box. A Linear parameter sweep is pictured below followed by definitions of the control fields.

A linear parameter sweep is used to analyze your circuit at every available combination of variable values so that the circuit is analyzed at each specified analysis frequency using all of the combinations of the defined variable values. For example, if you had two variables with the first variable having four values and the second variable with five values a total of 20 combinations would run for each specified analysis frequency.

Enter the Start, Stop and Step Size or number of points values in the appropriate text entry boxes to define the set of values for the parameter. You click on the drop list to change from Step Size to number of points.
