Current Density Viewer - File Menu
You select File => Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box to select settings for the current density viewer window. The settings are described below.
Startup Defaults
These check boxes control the default settings of these items when opening a new file for display in the current density viewer. This will not affect the present values of the settings in the current density viewer display; these are only used upon opening a new window.
Show Subsections: Click on this check box to display the subsections when opening a file. Once a file is open, this option may be turned on and off by selecting View => Subsections.
Show Ports: Click on this check box to display the ports when opening a file. Once a file is open, this option may be turned on and off by selecting View => Ports.
Color Palette:This allows you to install alternate color maps by making a selection from the drop list. There are two choices: Spectrum (default), and gray.
Use Gray Palette when printing : Setting this check box to on will select the gray palette for use with print commands. Setting this option causes the highest current density values to be printed in white and the lowest values in black.
Window Background: You may choose a color for the window background from the drop list. The default is white.
Substrate Color: You may choose, from the drop list, which color will be used for the substrate. The default is light gray.
Subsection Color:You may choose, from the drop list, which color will be used to outline the subsections when View Subsections is on. The default is black.
Standard Mesh Color: Select the color you wish to use to represent standard meshing when the Mesh View option is on.
Conformal Mesh Color: Select the color you wish to use to represent conformal meshing when the Mesh Type option is on.
GLG Mesh Color: Select the color you wish to use to represent GLG meshing when the Mesh Type and the GLG Metal options are on.
Keyboard: Clicking on this button opens the Keyboard dialog box which allows you to create custom definitions of keyboard entries, also known as hot keys.
