System Requirements: Interfaces
Agilent ADS Interface
The Agilent ADS Interface is available for all operating systems supported by Sonnet (see System Requirements page). In addition, the following list shows the compatibility status for various versions of ADS:
- Releases prior to ADS 2008: Untested
- ADS 2008 through ADS 2009: Compatible with Sonnet V13
- ADS 2009 Update 1: Compatible with Sonnet V13 on Windows and Linux only
- ADS 2011: Contact Sonnet Technical Support for the latest information
AWR Microwave Office Interface
The AWR Microwave Office Interface is available for computer systems operating Windows XP and newer. AWR’s Microwave Office 8.06 or above is required to interface with Sonnet. You must purchase the EM socket option in Microwave Office from AWR to use this interface. The Sonnet AWR Interface software may be compatible with previous versions of AWR but has not been tested for those versions. Translated files created by the AWR Microwave Office Interface are compatible with Sonnet V13.
Cadence Virtuoso Interface
The Cadence Virtuoso Interface is available for computer systems operating Sun Solaris 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0 and above and SUSE Linux Enterprise 10.0 and above. Cadence's Virtuoso IC5.141, IC6.14 or above is required to interface with Sonnet. The Sonnet Virtuoso Interface software may be compatible with previous versions of Virtuoso but has not been tested for those versions. Translated files created by the Cadence Virtuoso Interface are compatible with Sonnet V13.
Gerber Translator
The Gerber Translator is available only on the Windows platform.
SonnetLab Toolbox for MATLAB
The SonnetLab Toolbox for MATLAB is for Sonnet V13 and is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. MATLAB R2009b or higher is required.
