User Model Elements

The User Model Element is a model from a third party vendor or a custom model which is included in a Netlist Project (see Netlist Project Overview). When you insert a User Model Element, the model library that is opened is set using Admin > Third Party Interfaces > User Model. Modelithics models are presently the only supported vendor models, although it is possible to create custom models. If you are interested in doing so, please contact your Sonnet Software representative for details.

If the model contains parameters, they appear in the Element Parameters section of the Edit Element dialog box. For parameters which are floating-point numbers, you may enter a fixed value or use a variable defined in your netlist project as the value of the parameter.
